I am a qualified counsellor with experience in counselling, mentoring and pastoral care. My background includes work as an occupational therapist and within education. I have spent significant periods working abroad and have experience of supporting people through cross cultural transitions. Alongside my private practice I have worked as a university and college student counsellor.

My qualifications are as follows:

  • Level 5 Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Roehampton University (2015)
  • Certificate in Counselling, University of Gloucester (2013)
  • Dip College of Occupational Therapy (1985)

I regularly supplement my formal study with relevant short courses which have included, to date, Online working, Trauma recovery, sexual abuse recovery, child and adolescent mental health, children’s counselling, short term work and pastoral care.
